Navigation data
The systems hosting the website record, for the operation and security of the service, the IP address of origin, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the type of browser. These data are not used to identify users. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in the continuity and security of the website (art. 6(1)(f)). The data are retained by the hosting provider for the time necessary for those purposes.
Data provided through the contact forms
The forms on the website collect the name, the e-mail address and the content of the message. The message is delivered to the mailbox of the office concerned and is not stored on the website. The processing is carried out in order to reply to the request and to manage relations with those who submit it; the legal bases are the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures and the controller's legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Messages remain in the Community's mailboxes together with the rest of the correspondence; no predetermined deletion period has been set.
Any data capable of revealing religious beliefs contained in the messages are processed solely for the purpose of replying, within the scope permitted to religious bodies by article 9(2)(d) of the Regulation.
Visit statistics
The website measures visits through two third-party statistics services: Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd, and StatCounter, provided by StatCounter (Ireland). The page visited, the referring source, the type of device and the approximate geographical area are collected; the data are used only in aggregate form, to understand how the website is used. Google Signals and any use for advertising or profiling purposes are switched off. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used (art. 6(1)(f)).
Both services may process data outside the European Union, on the basis of the safeguards declared by the respective providers. Their notices are available on their own websites: Google and StatCounter.
Measurement can be switched off at any time, for each device, with the control below: from that moment no data is sent and the cookies already set are deleted. Browsers sending the “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal are never measured.

No profiling cookies for advertising purposes are used. Statistics cookies can be switched off with the control in the previous section; all cookies may in addition be deleted or blocked through the browser settings.
Donations
Donations are made through PayPal, which processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. The Community has no access to card or account details; it receives confirmation of the payment and the data transmitted to it by PayPal, retained for the period required by accounting and tax obligations.
Recipients of the data
The data are processed by the Community's authorised staff and by the providers necessary for the operation of the website: Aruba S.p.A., processor for hosting and e-mail services, Google Ireland Ltd and StatCounter for the statistics, and PayPal for payment transactions only. The data are not disclosed to the public nor communicated to other parties. The website provides neither user registration nor newsletter services.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects are afforded the rights set out in articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which may be exercised in respect of the controller through the contact details given above, within the limits and under the conditions laid down by law. They are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
