The docufilm by Andreina de Brino and Marco Visalberghi sheds light on the socio-political reality experienced by the professor, who was forced to leave the Alma Mater because of the racial laws of 1938, and on his work once he returned to Bologna, which was devastated from a moral, cultural and material standpoint.
